Real Madrid stay on top

Real Madrid has moved eight points clear ofBarcelona at the top of the La Liga.

Mallorca went into the lead in the 39th minute through a header from Tomer Hemed.

Madrid once again picked themselves in the second half. In the 72nd minute Gonazalo Higuain helped draw level and then the visitors finally crossed the finish line with an 84th minute winner from Maria Callejon.

The victory was Madrid's 22nd in their last 23 competitive matches and lifted them further clear of Barca, who play Real Betis tonight.
